| History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals. -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Human salvation lies in the hands of the creatively maladjusted. -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear. -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I submit that an individual who breaks the law that conscience tells him is unjust and willingly accepts the penalty by staying in jail to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the very highest respect for law. -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. |
I am not interested in power for power's sake, but I'm interested in power that is moral, that is right and that is good. -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. |

| A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus. - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. |
All ages, occupations and backgrounds who volunteer their time and talents to reach our mission. General Meetings are facilitated Isaac Perry, but all foundational decisions are determined by group consensus. For Information on Consensus See: Michigan State University's How To & Why Use Consensus Guide Loyola University's Coming To Consensus Resolv's What is Consensus University of Colorado's International Online Training Program On Intractable Conflict Research Consortium There are Sub-Committees where volunteers focus on specific work areas. These sub-committees work together and report back to the General Committee. The General Committee and Sub-committees are open to any and all community members who support the mission and operating principles in theory and practice. We believe our service to the community is not only measured and evidenced by the events we support, provide or participate in, but also by the process, which we plan, participate and produce these events. |
